The airport is a professionally run, full-service FBO with friendly staff and competitive prices. The airport has a newly remodeled terminal, repainted runway, and renovated apron and taxiway. Our goal is to make each customer feel at home.

The airport offers two fueling types; 100 LL and Jet A.

Paul Perry

“A Mile of Road will Take You a Mile, But a Mile of Runway will Take You Anywhere.”

He has been involved in aviation for over 30 years. His love of flying took him from a private pilot’s license to a career promoting aviation across the state of Tennessee. Paul has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aerospace with a concentration in Aviation Administration from Middle Tennessee State University. He spent twenty years with the Tennessee Department of Transportation’s Aeronautics Division as a Planner and Safety Airport/Heliport Inspector.

He was also part of the crew that transitioned the Transportation Security Administration into Nashville International Airport. He and his wife have been small business owners over the same amount of time while raising three children.

Paul brought his years of experience to Shelbyville in November of 2017. Since then, the airport has increased in based aircraft and operations with several airfield improvements. The goal is to make the airport an even stronger utility for citizens of Shelbyville, Bedford County and surrounding area.
